TROPICAL PARADISE IN OCHO RIOS

This design–build project holds a special place in our hearts. The property was a blank slate as it was a new construction — a rare opportunity to craft something extraordinary from the ground up. The goal was a garden that would turn heads and welcome guests with undeniable charm. We wanted lush beauty that would last, a sense of privacy, and a space that felt effortless to maintain.

With that vision in mind, we set out to design a landscape that blends elegance with practicality — one that enhances the home’s curb appeal today and continues to flourish for years to come.

If it doesn’t meet my standards at home, it doesn’t belong in a client’s landscape.

THE BRIEF

This design–build project began with a blank canvas — a rare chance to create something truly special. We envisioned a garden that would impress guests while offering lasting beauty, privacy, and low maintenance.

OUR SOLUTION

We designed a landscape that enhances the home’s architecture with low ground cover shrubs in the front to highlight its clean lines. Along the driveway, a two-tier hedge of Silver Buttonwood and Dwarf Ixora adds structure and color, punctuated by elegant Phoenix palms for height and rhythm. Areca palms provide natural privacy along the property’s edge, while a central water fountain anchors the front with movement and tranquility — completing a cohesive, low-maintenance tropical retreat.

Founder’s Project Note

This project was designed as a personal benchmark — a space to test ideas, materials, and execution standards before applying them to client projects.
Every decision was intentional: from plant selection and garden bed proportions to lighting placement and circulation. The goal was not to overdesign, but to create balance, longevity, and calm.
This project continues to evolve over time, informing how we approach residential landscapes that are meant to be lived in — not just photographed.
