ELEVATED ESCAPE: ROOFTOP GARDEN TERRACE DESIGN
AurumScape transformed this blank rooftop into a modern outdoor retreat that combines leisure, design, and nature. With breathtaking hillside views as a backdrop, the terrace now features layered greenery, contemporary furnishings, and a carefully composed balance of structure and softness. The space offers residents a seamless blend of luxury and tranquility — redefining what outdoor living can feel like in the tropics.
What was once a bare, unused rooftop is now a place to relax and entertain.
THE BRIEF
We wanted to convert an unused rooftop into a relaxing and multifunctional escape — a space that could host quiet evenings, small gatherings, and weekend lounging. The design needed to be low-maintenance, visually cohesive, and climate-appropriate while maximizing the panoramic views and overall comfort.
OUR SOLUTION
AurumScape designed a holistic rooftop concept that balances style and practicality. We installed artificial turf with custom-cut organic patterns to soften the concrete and create visual rhythm. Rectangular planters with ornamental grass and palms were strategically placed to provide privacy, conceal AC units, and add vertical texture. A jacuzzi/hot tub anchors the terrace as a centerpiece of relaxation, complemented by a curved daybed, sun loungers, and a large cantilever umbrella for shade. Warm colored landscape lighting and painted concrete surfaces complete the design, giving the space a clean, resort-inspired finish.
