Residential Landscape Lighting Design in Ocho Rios, Jamaica

This residential landscape lighting project in Ocho Rios was designed to enhance the property’s nighttime atmosphere while preserving a sense of calm, privacy, and natural beauty.

AurumScape approached the lighting plan with restraint and intention, using light to reveal form rather than overpower the landscape. Uplighting was carefully positioned to accentuate sculptural palms, cycads, and layered tropical planting, allowing each element to emerge softly after dark. Low-level pathway and garden lighting guide movement through the space, improving safety while maintaining a relaxed, resort-like ambiance.

Warm, balanced illumination was selected to complement the home’s architecture and surrounding greenery, creating visual depth and subtle contrast without harsh glare. The result is a cohesive nighttime environment where architecture, planting, and lighting work together seamlessly—extending the enjoyment of the outdoor spaces well beyond sunset.
