MODERN PERGOLA LOUNGE WITH TROPICAL GARDEN
Designed as a tranquil outdoor retreat, this modern pergola lounge by AurumScape Ltd. combines natural materials, soft textures, and tropical greenery to create an elegant space for relaxation and connection. The interplay of sunlight, wood, and white drapery evokes a serene resort-like atmosphere — a seamless balance between architectural form and the lush vibrancy of the areca palms.
This project was approached with an emphasis on balance — between structure and softness, architecture and nature.
THE BRIEF
We envisioned a private outdoor retreat that extended the home’s living space into nature — a place to unwind, entertain, and connect with the landscape. The goal was to design a setting that felt resort-like yet intimate, combining natural materials with a touch of modern sophistication.
OUR SOLUTION
AurumScape approached the project with an emphasis on balance — structure and softness, architecture and nature. The custom wooden pergola was designed as both a frame and a filter, guiding sunlight while creating a sense of intimacy and enclosure.
As part of the full design vision, AurumScape curated the outdoor furniture to complement the architecture and landscape. The woven lounge set, accented by a small fire pit feature, brings warmth and comfort, inviting conversation and relaxation from day to night.
Flowing white drapery softens the geometry and adds movement, while small hanging pots with tropical plants adorn the pergola, introducing subtle texture and life overhead.
The planting palette — layers of areca palms envelops the space in privacy and calm. Together, each element creates a cohesive retreat that reflects AurumScape’s signature harmony between design, nature, and lifestyle.
